Recognizes the best original peer-reviewed paper published in the American Journal of Surgical Pathology during the twelve months preceding the application deadline. Award is $1,000 and will be presented at the APSS Annual Meeting during USCAP

Eligibility/Criteria:

• Either the first or senior author must be an APSS member in good standing.
• Must hold an MD (or equivalent).
• Must be a pathologist-in-training (resident or fellow) in an accredited program at the time the research was initiated and substantially completed.
• Applicant should be the first author.
• For multi-authored papers, only one applicant is eligible, and only one paper per author may be submitted.
